An official park introduction and regional map for Humboldt Redwoods, including nearby communities and named park features.
Record details#
Geographic and historical context#
The brochure introduces the park landscape and supplies a map with Myers Flat, Miranda, Weott, and named forest areas. It is useful for regional orientation when reading Jay Smith Road history. Its purpose differs from a recorded survey or a road-construction plan.
The library links to the agency’s original PDF rather than reproducing the brochure or extracting its photographs for reuse. A government publication may include separately credited material; access to the PDF is not a blanket license to republish every image.
Related research#
Read the park-history hub, Avenue of the Giants guide, and historical geography page for explanatory context. The maps library distinguishes this visitor-oriented map from the cataloged township plat and proposed road map.
For current park information, consult the official park page. This record identifies a dated brochure, not a promise that every visitor detail remains current.
